How to make a Hair Bun for dance class?
Materials required: ​Flat small tooth comb, Gel, Hairspray, U-shape hair pins, Hair elastic, large full-head hair net.

STEP 1
Gather the hair and comb back into a high pony tail just below the crown of the head.
Apply gel and use the comb to smooth back all lumps until hair is flat.

STEP 2
Twist the pony tail.

Start to coil the ponytail by looping over the top of the hair elastic.

Continue to coil ponytail into a slightly loose bun shape , and secure with 3 - 4 U-shaped hair pins. 
Slide each pin downwards through the outer edge of the bun and then into the base of the bun.
(If the bun is coiled too tight at this stage it will be extremely hard to fix the shape and size later on)

STEP 5
Place hairnet over bun.

Catch hairnet at back of bun and pull excess fwd and twist

STEP 7
Wrap hairnet back over bun and continue twisting and wrapping until all excess net is used up.

Use hands to correct position and shape of bun before adding more hairpins.

STEP 9
Secure bun with 10 - 12 of the U-shaped hair pins. 
Slide each pin downwards through the outer edge of the bun and then directly in towards the centre and base of the bun.

Spray hair with hairspray and smooth down any flyaway strands of hair.
